01. Data Collection

We collect the minimum amount of data required to provide our service. This includes your email address for account management and the URLs you submit for sustainability scanning.

02. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. myCarbonScan does not store your credit card details or full billing information on our own servers.

03. Data Retention

Scan history and historical CO₂ trends are stored as long as your account is active to provide historical charting. If you request account deletion, all personal data and URLs will be purged within 30 days.

04. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with essential service providers (like database hosting and payment processors) necessary to run myCarbonScan.
